Congratulatory Letter from Jia Qinglin for the 50th Anniversary of NCEPU

Jia Qinglin, standing member of the Political Bureau of the Party´s Central Committee and the 11th CPPCC Chairman, sent a congratulatory letter for the 50th anniversary of NCEPU on October 13th, 2008. Following is the whole letter.

    All faculties and students of NCEPU,

    On the 50th anniversary of NCEPU, I would like to extend warm congratulation and heart-felt greeting to all faculties, students and overseas alumni.

    For the past half century, NCEPU, as a university featured by power disciplines, has seriously implemented the educational policy in a socialist manner. By seizing the opportunity of development and deepening reform in education, NCEPU has significantly improved the running level and the overall strength. It is in this way that NCEPU has achieved much in talent cultivation, scientific research and social service, provided numbers of high-quality talents and made active contribution to the modernization of China.

    I hope that all of you can implement the scientific development view, carry forward traditions, deepen reform and shape creation by holding high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping´s Theory and "Three Represents", and that you make new contribution to the construction of an innovative country and realization of the great goal of constructing a well-off society by improving constantly the teaching and scientific research level and cultivating more high-quality talents.
