Volunteers from NCEPU in Action (One)

The 2008 Beijing Olympics come with expectation of people all over the world. Venues with sports stars and athletes from different countries become the focus. However, there is a group of people whose passion, smile and sweat also shine in the sky of Olympics. They are the most lovely volunteers.

    During the Olympic Games, 2437 volunteers from NCEPU will be busy working in sports venues, the Olympic village, the subway stations, the bus stops, etc. While explaining “dedication, friendliness, mutual aid and progress”, those volunteers also unfold the spirit of NCEPU and the youth vigor of students in this university.

    August 1st   Naïve smiling faces are the best name cards of the Olympic Games. With the arriving of the Army Day, the second serving stage of urban volunteers from NCEPU started.

    August 3rd   American volunteers organized an “English Corner” in Yingdong Canteen to help Chinese volunteers use fluent English so that they may work better.

    August 4th 8:00 AM  The kick-Off meeting was held for the second group of social volunteers.

    August 5th 8:30 AM  Volunteers from NCEPU were waiting for the security inspection at the north door of the Olympic Sports Center.

    On the morning of August 5th, volunteers in Yingdong Natatorium rehearsed the awards ceremony for the water ball.
