NCEPU’ Information Transparency Work Tops in Higher Education Institutions

21st Century Education Research Institute published the Report on Evaluation of Information Transparency in Higher Education on March 3. In this report, the average score of 75 universities directly affiliated under the Ministry of Education was 71.30, and North China Electric Power University(NCEPU) got the highest score of 95.87 in this evaluation of information transparency. CCTV-NEWS reported the result of information disclosure evaluation as well as the news that NCEPU got the first place among higher education institutions.

NCEPU held a thematic meeting on information disclosure in higher education in October, 2014. Mr.Sun Zhongquan, deputy president of NCEPU, proposed clear requirements to establish long-term mechanism for information transparency. Information Office of NCEPU, through the joint effort with the related departments, firmly promoted the information transparency work by the means of comprehensively upgrading and redesigning the website, adjusting the column setup, and strengthening the information of website. It strictly implemented the 10 kinds of 50 requirements on the List of Information Disclosure in Higher Education issued by the Ministry of Education, and disclosed 696 pieces of information. In addition, more than 500 pieces of information were published on the website homepage, and more than 1,400 pieces of information were disclosed on the office platform.
