Two NCEPU Professors Elected as “2014 Most Cited Chinese Researchers”

The world renowned Scientific and technological publisher Elsevier released the list of “2014 Most Cited Chinese Researchers” in 2015. Professor Xu Jinliang and Professor Li Yongping from the North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) are among the list.

The data of the list is from Scopus, the world’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature owned by Elsevier, and formed on the basis of the systematic analysis of the mass literatures related to scientific research, writers and research institutions. It aims to make scientific analysis and evaluation of the Chinese researchers’ research output to the world. It is acknowledged that Scopus database contains 21,000 titles from over 5,000 publishers and covers more than 55 million records in all academic fields. Scopus features its various tools to track, analyze and visualize research. A total of 1651 Chinese researchers recognized as the world’s most influential scientific minds are named in the list, covering 38 fields including mathematics, physics, chemistry, electrical and electronic engineering, control and system engineering, computer science.
