The Training Class Hosted by Our College for the Officials of the Power Industry from French-speaking African Countries Opened.

On June 4th, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by our college, the training class for the officials of the power industry from French-speaking African countries in 2015 opened in Baoding branch campus. About 26 officials of the power industry from Burundi, Congo, Guinea-Bissau, Comorin, Madagascar, Niger, Senegal, Algeria and Central Africa will come to our school for a month of training. The vice-principal, Wang Zengping, the leaders of the International Cooperation Office, the School Office and the Electric Power Department, school teachers and the training members had attended the opening ceremony.



The training project director and the deputy director of the International Cooperation Office, Wu Yanjun, was invited to preside over the opening ceremony.

Wang Zengping pointed out in his speech that this training project was one of the important foreign-aid human resource development projects organized by our school and a big event for strengthening the communication and promoting the friendship between China and the French-speaking African countries. It was also a good chance for the central African power industry peers to communicate the technology experience and improve the ability of science and technology. Focusing on the power system control and operation, this training class will carry out the theoretical study and practice, and in order to experience and understand the development status of Chinese electric power industry and the technical features, it will also offer every training member the onsite learning opportunity, and at the same time, introduce the China's achievements in the field of new energy power generation.
