The Science and Technology Products of NCEPU Won the First Prize of the Excellence Award at the 17th Session of China International Industry Fair

From November the 3rd to November the 7th, the 17th Session of China International Industry Fair was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). After the appraisal of the organizing committee and the panel, the “BAS/COC Test Intelligent Expert System for the Nuclear Power Station” developed by NCEPU  won the “first prize of the excellent exhibition” as well as the “prize of the excellent organization” in the college and university exhibition group at the 17th Session of China International Industry Fair.


Led by the vice President, Sun Zhongquan, the projects majorly engaged by the young teachers in the NCEPU research team were on exhibition at this session of China International Industry Fair. There were 7 technology and industry projects on exhibition at this fair, including the “Aurora Vision System”, the “BAS/COC Test Intelligent Expert System for the Nuclear Power Station”, the “Wear and Corrosion Resistance Amorphous Coating Technology” and so on.


Developed by professors, Liu Song and Liu Peng, from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, NCEPU, the “Aurora Vision System” refers to the interactive communication chip for the electric power information collection, with the “smart socket” functions of the multi-point information collection and the remote control, based on which “an expert database” with the capability of the intelligent data analysis can be built and application functions like the “laser projection” with the communication function for the enterprise power customers can be created. The “Aurora Vision System” covers the whole process of the collection, transmission, processing, and control of the terminal power information. Developed by professor, Ma Jing, from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, NCEPU, the “BAS/COC Test Intelligent Expert System for the Nuclear Power Station” is for the auxiliary test heads to implement the test condition management, risk control, data management and report processing and has been successfully promoted and applied in several domestic nuclear power plants, producing the direct and indirect economic benefits of 150 million RMB. Developed by professor, Xue Zhiyong, from the School of Energy Power and Mechanical Engineering, the “Wear and Corrosion Resistance Amorphous Coating Technology” is the amorphous coating composition system and process with independent intellectual property rights, which has greatly prolonged the service life of the related products and has reached the domestic leading level.
