NCEPU and Uiduk University of South Korea Signed "2 +2" Cooperation Agreement

The signing ceremony of cooperation between NCEPU and Uiduk University was held in the VIP room of the main building on December 28. The two sides had a discussion on the conditions and prospect of cooperation and signed a "2 +2" cooperation agreement. President Liu Jizhen was present at the meeting which was presided over by Deputy President Li Chengrong. In the signing ceremony, president of Uiduk University awarded honorary certificates to Professor Huo Yueli for her contributions to the cooperation between the two universities.


    At 10 am, President Liu Jizhen met with President Pei Duchun, Director Cheng Runshu of the Chinese Langage Department and Director Jin Gengde of International Cooperation Department from Uiduk University. The two sides had a cordial conversation in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. President Liu Jizhen expressed his warm welcome for the arrival of President Pei, and pictured the prospect of international cooperation between the two universities based on the international and domestic situation as well as NCEPU’s strategic objectives and its unique advantages of development. President Pei deeply hoped an all-round communication and cooperation between the two universities starting from Chinese Language studies. He believed that as long as the two universities seek common development points for mutual benefits, the desired objectives of international cooperation and exchanges will surely be achieved.
    Finally, presidents from the two universities singed on the cooperation agreement, exchanged gifts and took pictures together.
    With “nurturing all-round talents with culture, science and technology, helpful in regional development, and serving the community in the 21st century” as the educational purposes, “serving the community” as its mission, establishing all educational systems based on seeking truth from facts, the Uiduk University of South Korea consists of 23 departments, owns the largest library in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, South Korea, and 14 teaching buildings installed with the most advanced information equipment and satellite multi-media teaching function. The university win the highest award in the regional Comprehensive Evaluation and is honored “Excellent university” in academic assessment of Korean universities, “Excellent University in the educational reform”, and “IT characterized University”.
