Vice President of Moscow Power Engineering Institute Prof. Zherbakov, Visited NCEPU

Prof. Zherbakov, Vice President of Moscow Power Engineering Institute, who is charge of Foreign Affairs Department, visited NCEPU on 18th November. President Liu Jizhen extended warm welcome to him and expressed his hope that NCEPU and Moscow Power Engineering Institute would make further cooperation on basis of ever friendly exchange as well as that the visit of Prof. Zherbakov would set up a new beginning for the two universities’ cooperation.

    Moscow Power Engineering Institute was once one of the best-known universities of former Soviet Union, and now, in Russia, it is also the most important institute majoring in dynamism, electric power, electronics and information. As a coordinator in energy domain of Russia, it took part in Sino-Russian University Symposium by Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which took place in Beijing on 17th.

    Prof. Zherbakov made a deep discussion with Liu Yongqian, Director of International Cooperation Department, Xu Hong, President of School of Energy Power and Mechanical Engineering, Lu Daogang, President of School of Nuclear Science and Engineering, Li Gengyin, Vice President of School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Chen Lei, Vice President of School of Mathematics and Physics, and reached an agreement in cooperation and exchange of graduate cultivation, scientific research, etc.

    After the conference, Prof. Zherbakov visited laboratories like Power Plant Simulation Center and spoke highly of the present scientific research work of NCEPU.
