NCEPU's National University Science and Technology Park(NUSTP) Rated as "Good" in the new round of Performance Evaluation

Recently, Ministry of Science and Technology(MST) and the Ministry of Education(ME) jointly issued the "Notice on performance evaluation results of National University Science & Tech Park". NCEPU’s NUSTP was rated as "good" , which is a great progress. A third-party professional evaluation agency commissioned by MST & ME conducts the performance evaluations on 115 NUSTPs. It is reported that of 115 NUSTPs, 22 were rated as “excellent”, 36 “good”, 40 “qualified” and 17 “poor”.

After years of construction and development, NCEPU’s NUSTP has successively obtained national, provincial and ministerial qualifications, such as the National Science and Technology Business Incubator, the Ministry of Education's Internship Base for Returned Overseas Students, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council's International Cooperation and Innovation Base for Central Enterprises, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's National Small and Micro Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demonstration Base (The second batch), Beijing Small Enterprise Entrepreneurship Base, Beijing Small and Micro Enterprise Entrepreneurship and Innovation Demonstration Base, Beijing Major Energy Science and Technology Innovation Base, Beijing Small and Medium Enterprise Intellectual Property Agglomeration Development Demonstration Zone and others. Relying on the service system of "public welfare + specialization + marketization" and the construction of the online and offline integration service platform, NCEPU’s NUSTP has gradually formed its own operation mode suitable for the energy and power industry, and created its characteristic brand.

In the next step, NCEPU’s NUSTP will, in combination with the guidance of performance evaluation, closely focus on the construction of the University with a “double first-class” initiative goal, continuously strengthen the standardized management and capacity building of the park, and promote the formation of “The Five-Sphere Integrated” functional Plan about integration of innovation resource,transformation of scientific and technological achievements, incubation of scientific and technological entrepreneurship, cultivating of innovative talents and open and coordinated development. We will continue to make progress towards the goal of building a "world-class national university science and technology park" with energy and power characteristics.
