Strategic Cooperation Seminar between NCEPU & Inspur Group was held

        On November 19th, the strategic cooperation seminar between NCEPU & Inspur Group was held in NCEPU. Guests of Inspur including Pang Songtao, Vice President, Su Yuling, Vice-general Manager of Human Resource Department, Qiao Xin, General Manager of Information Program and Implement Department and Chen Naigang, General Manager of Energy Industry Department attended the seminar. NCEPU leadership including Yang Yongping, Vice President, Tan Qinliang, Executive Vice-Dean of Science and Technology Academy, Xiao Wanli, Vice-Dean of Science and Technology Academy, Liu Shi, Dean of School of Control and Computer Engineering, Xugang, Vice-Dean of School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Chai Dapeng, Vice Director of University-enterprise Cooperation Office, Wang Hongsheng, Director of Administration Office of NCEPU National Science Park received guests of Inspur and took part in the seminar. The seminar was chaired by Tan Qinliang.

         Yang Yongping, the vice president, gave a welcome address. He said, NCEPU possessed the research and industry resources for the strategic cooperation of NCEPU & Inspur. NCEPU will fully support the cooperation between National Science Park and Inspur Group and open up a new prospect of industry-university-research cooperation.

         In his speech, Pang Songtao expressed good faith and high attention to the strategic cooperation. He said, Inspur Group occupied the leading position of China informatization as one of the earliest IT brand in China. Its series cloud computing solutions served for electrical power system had been widely recognized in the industry. He believed the cooperation will further match supply and demand and integrate resources for informatization of electrical power system.

       Tan Qinliang and Chen Naigang introduced NCEPU and Inspur Group separately which enhanced the mutual understanding. Wang Honghen combed the cooperation intentions NCEPU reached in the negotiation with Inspur early, including industry alliance, models of co-building science and technology R&D center, program of cultivating talents, Energy and Electric Power Growth Fund, Strategic Cooperation Coordinating Committee. Inspur responded to all these issues positively. Then, industry experts Liu Shi and Xu Gang provided guiding opinions for strategic cooperation.

        Leadership of NCEPU and Inspur finally agreed a basic cooperation framework in the seminar. This achievement, marked as an important step in NCEPU’s university-enterprise cooperation program, will officially kick off the strategic cooperation between NCEPU and Spur and facilitate the resources docking and fruits sharing of both parties in an all-round way.
