NCEPU Built Another “111 Program” Introducing Talents Base

        According to the "Twelfth Five Year Plan", Program of Introducing Discipline Talents of Higher Education (known as 111 Program), which was organized by Ministry of Educationand State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, finished its assessment. The forty-four Introducing Talents bases, including Introducing Talents Base of Energetic and Environmental System Analysis & Engineering Applications of NCEPU, were approved as the construction programs in 2014.

       The approved Introducing Talents base is led by Pro. Huang Guohe, who is from Resource and Environment Institute of NCEPU. Depending on our advantageous disciplines, the base attracts a large group of high-level scholars from international top universities, to carry out interdisciplinary researches with our research group. The base is our fourth approved Introducing Talents base, following “Introducing Talents Base for Large Power System and Security Defense”, “Introducing Talents Base for Cleaning Conversion and High- Efficient Utilization of Coal”and “Introducing Talents Base for Intelligent Distributed Energy System”.

       “111 Program”, co-implemented by Ministry of Education and State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, takes international disciplines developing trends as its general goal. Focusing on national goal and combining with international advanced disciplines and national key disciplines, “111 Program”  is based on national key disciplines and takes national, provincial and ministerial key research bases as the platforms. Furthermore, it introduces over 1,000 academic masters and backbones from overseas, who are mainly from leading discipline group of the world’s top 100 universities and research institutes. With the high-level research group, “111 Program” builds about 100 world-class discipline innovation bases, produces international outstanding scientific research outputs and improves the total level and international position of universities.
