Baoding Campus of NCEPU Held Variety Show to Celebrate the 55th Anniversary of NCEPU

        To celebrate the 55^th anniversary of NCEPU, Baoding campus of NCEPU held variety show with the theme of “People of NCEPU, Dream in NCEPU”.NCEPU alumnui including Zhang Chengjie, the Deputy General Manager of China Guodian Corporation, Wang Yonggan, consultant of China Electricity Council and the president of NCEPU Beijing alumni association, Yan Xiaoding, the president of NCEPU Baoding alumni association, school leaders including Zhang Jinhui, Li Shuangchen, Wang Zengping, standing committee member of party committee Zhang Tianxing, assistant of the president Mi Zengqiang and Guo Xiaofeng, leaders of various functional departments and retired teachers watched the performance together with teachers and students.

        Alumni of the Department of Mechanics Yao Xuesong and Du Yuting were invited to host the show with school hosts.

        The variety show was composed of three episodes: Time is like a Song, Paean of NCEPU and Forge ahead with Loud Singing.

        The first episode opened with the cheerful dance Merry Song for the Festival, which set a joyful tone for the gala.

        After a soulful reciting of Leaves’ Affection towards Root by students, retired teachers and alumni performed Ode to NCEPU Alumnus together, expressing the graduated students’ affection towards NCEPU.

        Wang Yonggan congratulated NCEPU’s birthday as the alumnus delegate. And Shu Wei, another alumnus of NCEPU conducted all the teachers, students and alumni to sing the school song of NCEPU in unison.

        The second episode started with a lilting allegro dancePaean of NCEPU, presenting the achievements of NCEPU on teaching, research and school development these years and leading up to the climax of the atmosphere.

        The Birch Forest chorus and retired faculty won great applausefrom the audience with the semi chorus of Send You a Rose and the dance of Spanish Paso Doble respectively.

        In the third episode, the melodrama Swear in the Name of Youth showed the dedicated and striving spirit of NCEPU students with the three themes of bringing light into plateau, supporting western development and participating in entrepreneurial practice.

        The show of “People of NCEPU, Dream in NCEPU”finally ended in the enthusiastic applause.
