Our Athletes Got Good Achievements in Universities and Colleges Track and Field Championship

        On July 22^nd to 27^th ,the 13^th nationwide universities and colleges track and field championship was held in Northwest University for Nationalities. More than 1300 athletes from 126 universities and colleges across the country participated in the competition. The universities and colleges track and field championship is at present the largest in scale and longest in time track and field competition for nationwide university and college students. The championship attracts the largest number of competing schools and athletes, being one of the most important ways for the country to select track and field athletes.

         A team of 18 athletes from the two campuses of our university Beijing and Baoding competed in the championship. After 6 days of competing, our athlete Gao Yimei won women’s 400m hurdles championship with a good grade 1.099 minutes and 400 meters bronze. Meanwhile, we won the third prize in 4X400 meters relay, which has been representing the overall level of women’s middle and long distance races in our university.
