Yingli Group Came to Our University to Discuss Cooperation

        From Baoding: On the afternoon of July 3^rd, a delegation led by Song Dengyuan who is chief technology officer of Yingli Group and director of state key laboratory of photovoltaic materials and technology arrived at Baoding campus of our university for cooperation talks.

        The cooperative communication meeting was held at 3 o’clock in the afternoon at the fourth floor of multiple-use building. Vice-president Wang Zengping, assistant president Guo Xiaofeng and leaders from relevant schools and departments all attended the meeting, which was hosted by Guo Xiaofeng.

        Wang Zengping expressed warm welcome to the arrival of members from Yingli Group to start with and then briefly introduced the situations of our university from aspects of disciplines, scientific research and talents, etc. He put forward strategic cooperation ideas on the alliance of our university’s “state key laboratory of new energy power system” and “state key laboratory of photovoltaic materials and technology” of Yingli Group, on tackling hard-nut problems in science and technology, personnel training and project application, etc.

        Song Dengyuan introduced the development situations of Yingli Group and the background for discussing cooperation. He pointed out that university-enterprise cooperation between NCEPU and Yingli Group would have good  prospects based on favorable backgrounds that Yingli Group, North China Electric Power University and Hebei University had jointly established“the photovoltaic industry technology research institute of Hebei province”, that North China Electric Power University and Yingli Group had compiled“the photovoltaic industry technology roadmap”and bore the science and technology project plan of Hebei province together. He also expressed hope to strengthen collaborative innovation and to realize complementary advantages and disadvantages especially in aspects such as key technology research, development and application plus talent training.

        At the communication meeting, Huang Yongjie, manager of science and technology project management department in technology center of Yingli Group, and Liu Xiaojun, manager of personnel resource department both gave speeches on enhancing cooperation between NCEPU and Yingli Group in science,technology and talent. They also presented  realistic requirements of enterprises. Finally,in summary statements, Song and Wang  reiterated the significance of strengthening cooperation and communication between the two and stressed the need to share social responsibilities so as to achieve a win-win situation.
