Tajik Ambassador visited NCEPU and delivered speech

        On the afternoon, 24th May, Wu Zhigong, the party secretary of NCEPU, met with Tajik Ambassador Rashid Alimov and his group.

        Wu Zhigong expressed his welcome to Ambassador Alimov’s visit and speech. He pointed out that this speech could help students of NCEPU pay greater attention to understand the economic, politic, culture, and the relationship between China and Tajik, and thanked for his contribution for promoting educational exchanges and cooperation between NCEPU and higher institutions of Tajik. Alimov expressed gratitude to Wu and said that he will continue to promote actively the cooperation and exchanges in the future.

        Before the meeting, Ambassador Alimov delivered a wonderful speech to students in NCEPU, and reviewed the great achievements made between the two countries in economic, politic, diplomatic, energy and other areas in recent years. He looked forward to the friendly cooperation in various fields in younger generation. His wonderful speech won much applause and cheers.

        In a later question and answer session, Alimov Ambassador also discussed some issues with students. In addition, Ambassador Alimov watched exciting programs with teachers and students together such as instrumental music performance, small chorus and folk dances.
