        On 24^th and 25^th in May, the 2013 track meeting was successfully held in our school.

        In the morning on 24^th May, the 2013 track meeting began. School leaders such as Liu Jizhen, Hao Yingjie, Sun Pingsheng, Sun Zhongquan, and main leaders from various departments and faculties and teachers and students, attended the opening ceremony, which was presided over by Sun Zhongquan, the vice president.

        Under the loud and clear command, the National Flag Guard treaded the goose step neatly first, followed by the various departments and the unions’ square matrix. Their vigorousness, high morale, and valiant and heroic spirit showed their determination to struggle aggressively and to be number one.

        The national anthem waft over in the playground loudly, the five-star flag rose slowly under the attention of teachers and students.

        At the opening ceremony, Wu Zhigong, the party secretary of the party committee and director of the school sports, made an opening statement.         In the afternoon of 25th May, the 2013 track meeting successfully concluded at the playground. Hao Yingjie, Sun Zhongquan, mainly leaders for various departments and teachers and students attended the closing ceremony, which was presided over by Wang Qinghua, the director of School Affairs Office.

        Sun Zhong-Quan made a closing statement. Ren Jinsuo, the Chief Referee declared the results of the competition: in the student group, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering wonthefirst-placeprizewith the score of 222, Energy Power and Mechanical Engineering Institute, Economics and Management Institute respectively wonthesecond and third placeprizewith the score of 170 points and 134 points. In the faculty A group, the union of Institute of Electrical and electronic Engineering wonthefirst-placeprizewith the score of 305 points, the first labor division of Authority, Control and Computer Engineering labor unions and logistics services Group division followed with the second-place, third and the fourth; In the faculty B group, the library and the network division beat the pack and won the title.         Zhang Ruiya, the executive vice chairman of the School Union, declared the Organizing Award and Outstanding Contribution Award. There are six divisions getting the faculty organization award: the first labor division of Authority, Control and Computer Engineering labor unions and logistics services group division union, Renewable Energy Institute labor unions and university hospital labor unions and Mathematics Division union. In addition, the English Department, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nuclear Science and Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Control and Computer Engineering, College of Humanities and Social Sciences got the student organization award. As organizer, Institute of Economics and Management got award for outstanding contributions.

        Award-winning representatives went to the winning podium in turn to accept the award and posed for pictures.

        Flag passing ceremony also was held, and the next Games will be hosted by Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Lu Wei, the director of Economics and Management School, passed the flag to Hao Yingjie, and then Hao Yingjie, transferred the flag to Li Gengyin, the executive vice director of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
