Our University Was Invited to Participate in Chinese Universities Entrepreneurship Education High-level Forum and Was Awarded Outstanding Organizational Unit for Female University Students Entrepreneurship Season

        Chinese Universities Entrepreneurship Education High-level Forum on Female University Students Entrepreneurship Supporting Action and the 2013 Female College Students Entrepreneurship Season was held in Tsinghua University on May 9^th. The forum was hosted by the All-China Women’s Federation (ACWF), Ministry of Education and Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. Secretary of ACWF secretariat Cui Yu addressed the forum, relevant leaders from Ministry of Education, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security giving significant speeches. Our university participated in the forum as a major cooperative unit and professor Zhu Xiaohong from school of Humanities was invited to give a keynote report. Our university was rated as one of the outstanding organizational units for Nationwide Female University Students Entrepreneurship Season, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security employment promotion department deputy director Ms. Gui Zhen awarding the prize. It was reported that the other three universities receiving this honor were Tsinghua University, Central South University and China Women’s University.

        University graduates employment work has always been the focus of national employment work. This year, the number of our university graduates totals 6.99 million, up to a new record high. Secretary of ACWF secretariat Cui Yu pointed out in her speech that faced with such serious situation of employment ,the All-China Women’s Federation, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security had been collaborating together to help cope with it. The specific measures include Female University Students Entrepreneurship Supporting Action,Female University Students Entrepreneurship Mentors and by promoting university-enterprise joint, establishing entrepreneurial practice bases, organizing entrepreneurship seasons, providing entrepreneurial guidance and incubation, etc, theyare building broad platforms and providing effective service for employment and entrepreneurship for female university students.

        Professor Zhu Xiaohong was invited to the forum and participated in the second plenary meeting as a major guest speaker. Discussing with vice principal of China Women’s University Ms.Song Shengju, global vice president of IBM Mr. Ronald C. Glover, founder and CEO of traveler network subordinated to Tencent Ms. Liang Ning and representatives present at the meeting, Professor Zhu gave her keynote speech entitled“Employers Demand and Excellent Innovative Female Talents Training”.
