President Liu Jizhen Participated in the 1st Chairman Conference in 2013 of CEC

        On May 4 to 5, President Liu Jizhen, a vice chairman of CEC, participated in the 1st council chairman conference in 2013 of CEC. This conference analyzed the current situation faced by the electric power industry, discussed the current major issues related to the development of the power industry, proposed to change the development mode, and adhered to the clean, coordinated and innovative development. Liu Zhenya, the chairman of CEC, the general manager and party secretary of the State Grid Corporation; Sun Yucai, the party secretary and executive vice chairman of CEC, as well as the principals of other vice chairmen’s units attended this conference.

        President Liu Jizhen made ？？a statement at the conference. He believed that, as a social organization representing the whole power industry, CEC will shoulder more arduous and important job functions. Under the new situation, CEC should judge the hour and size up the situation, concentrate on major theoretical issues of the whole power industry, and maximize the power of bridge and tie among electric power enterprises and government and society with a more macro, strategic and forward-looking view in the context of the entire national society and even the world. 

        President Liu Jizhen showed that NCEPU has various completely specialized disciplines, numerous professors and experts and a galaxy of talents with policy and technical profession. We are willing to play to our strength and advantages to make positive contribution to the development of China's power industry.
