The Graduation Ceremony of the 2013 Graduates and Degree-granting Ceremony was held

        On April 1 and 2, the graduation ceremony of the 2013 graduates and degree-granting ceremony was held grandly in Beijing campus and Baoding campus respectively.

        Participants who attended and celebrated this memorable day are: the heads of NCEPU, Wu Zhigong, Liu Jizhen, Zhang Jinhui, An Liansuo, Li Shuangchen, Yang Yongping, Sun Pingsheng, Sun Zhongquan and Wang Zengping; the president assistants, Zhang Lizi, Yin Chengqun and Lv Fangcheng; the heads of institutes and the representatives of tutors and 2248 Dr. and master's graduate students with successful completion of their studies.

        The ceremony was hosted by vice President Yang Yongping.

        At the ceremony, vice president An LianSuo read out the school decision for degree-granting formulated by the NCEPU academic degree evaluation committee. The staff read out the list of winners for university-level outstanding graduate students and dissertations. A total of 134 graduate students won the title of "Outstanding Graduate Student"; and 65 master's thesis and 8 doctoral dissertations were awarded "Excellent Dissertation" on university-level.

        The president Liu Jizhen, the chairman of academic degree evaluation committee, made a speech entitled "brilliant with age for youth".

        Liu Jizhen, on behalf of NCEPU, firstly showed heartfelt congratulations to students with successful completion on studies, and expressed sincerely respect and thanks to teachers who paid sweats and carried on hard training for students’ growth and families and friends who supported them to complete their studies.

        Liu Jizhen pointed out that university is an important stage for laying good scientific literacy. And the work stage, after graduating from the university, is also an important period and sometimes even more important than before. He wished each student would be able to embrace the world, has the courage to bear responsibilities and combine the personal ideals and ambitions with national needs. Everyone should display his/her youth life and make contribution to the development of the country in the great mission of constructing beautiful China and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation of the "China Dream".

        Finally, Liu Jizhen encouraged the session of 2013 graduate students to continue adhering to the spirit and fine traditions of NCEPU in the future. And wherever he went, alma mater will always be strong backing and spiritual home for NCEPU students. He wishes all students have a bright future and a successful life.

        At the Ceremony, Liu Jizhen, the chairman of academic degree evaluation committee, granted the doctoral degree for doctoral students and congratulated all students. Then, all students stood up, toggled the tassels on the caps from right side before the middle of cap to left side.

        Participating leaders, teachers, students, friends and relatives expressed their heartfelt congratulations and warm applause again to all the graduates.
