Two Provincial Key Disciplines in Our University Approved

        Recently, in the light of the Notice from Education Department of Hebei Province on Releasing the Results of 2012 Hebei Higher Education Key Disciplines Evaluation and New Disciplines Selecting (Hebei Higher Education, April, 2013), all the contestant disciplines of our university have got through the evaluation and two more provincial key disciplines have been approved. Now, the provincial key disciplines of our university’s secondary subjects have reached 23.

        The overall arrangement of our university’s disciplines became more reasonable and achieved great breakthroughs in both science and arts after the evaluation and new disciplines selection, laying a solid foundation for further development of our university’s “Science and Arts Revitalization Plan”. The interaction and mutual promotion between the traditional preponderant disciplines, new energy disciplines, plus science and arts disciplines have formed more distinct disciplinary features while we develop the connotation of individual ones and we have achieved rapid promotion in the overall strength of our university’s disciplines.
