China’s Wind Power Scholarship and Grants Signing Ceremony Held in Our University

       On the afternoon of 18^th, March, the signing ceremony of “China’s Wind Power Scholarship and Grants” was held in our university. Executive Director and Executive Vice President Yu Weizhou, CTO Lu Yichuan, Chief HR Wang Haiwei of China Wind Power Group Co.,Ltd and Deputy Party Secretary Hao Yingjie of our university all attended the ceremony.

       China’s Wind Power Scholarship and Grants was set up by China Wind Power Group Co.,Ltd mainly aimed at subsidizing and awarding excellent undergraduates, postgraduates and excellent teachers in teaching and scientific research in School of Renewable Energy Resources. The agreement lasts for five years during which China Wind Power Group Co.,Ltd will fund 200,000 yuan per year for the Scholarship and Grants.

        Deputy Party Secretary Hao Yingjie expressed gratitude for the lasting financial aid of China Wind Power Group Co.,Ltd to the students of our school. He also pointed out that the establishment of scholarship and grants reflects the sense of social responsibility that a successful enterprise undertakes and that the selfless donationsy relieves life pressures of many students in NCEPU and provides a driving force for their dedication to study and development as well. He expressed wishes for further communication and cooperation in areas such as talent cultivation, academic exchange and scientific researchc.

        Executive Vice President of China Wind Power Group Co.,Ltd Yu Weizhou, who is also a specially hired professor of our school introduced the developing history and current situations of the company. He expected China Wind Power Group Co.,Ltd and NCEPU would have wide and long-term cooperation to jointly promote the prosperity of China’s new energy industry. He also expressed that NCEPU would qualify itself as soon as possible to reach the domestic and world first-class level in field of renewable energy research and talent cultivation.

        In the signing ceremony, the student representative Gao Xiaoli from School of Renewable Energy Resources gave a speech. She expressed gratitude for the generosity of China Wind Power Group Co.,Ltd and said that all the students in NCEPU would make persistent efforts and self-improvement to reward the company’s support and loves.

        The scholarship agreement was signed by Hao Yingjie and Yu Weizhou. At the same time, Hao Yingjie awarded Lu Yichuan, CTO of China Wind Power Group Co.,Ltd with a letter of appointment as a specially-hired professor of NCEPU. Heads from Student Affairs Department, Graduate Affairs Department, School of Renewable Energy Resources, University-enterprise Cooperation Office, Education Foundation and other relevant departments also attended the ceremony.
