Delegation of Taiwan University Visits Our University

        On March 21^st, Secretary of the Party Committee Wu Zhigong received the delegation of Taiwan University led by its Vice-president Zhao Yongmao. They had friendly exchanges on the issues of interschool cooperation.

        Wu gave a briefing of our university and expressed warm welcome to the Taiwan University Delegation. He also expressed wishes that the two schools would cooperate and build more cooperation platforms in mutual interested areas such as student exchanges, biomass power generation, etc.

        The Vice-president Zhao Yongmao said that Taiwan University has a strong strength in areas of agronomy, politics and engineering, etc and can carry out scientific research cooperation, teaching cooperation and student exchanges in bio-energy, energy materials, wind power and ocean power generation, etc. He expressed appreciation for our school’s rapid development in recent years especially for the outstanding achievements in professional areas and he also expressed wishes that the two schools would be able to have more substantial cooperation.

        Participants of the meeting also include Xu Yuantai, Professor and Dean of Biological Resources and Agricultural School, Vice Dean of Biological Resources and Agricultural School Lin Dade, Lin Changping and Wang Yanan from Taiwan University, Office Director of our Party Committee Wang Qinhua, Head of Department of Personnel Zhao Xiuguo, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Office Director Liu Yongqian.
