Party Secretary Wu Zhigong Request Cadre to Improve Study and Build Learning-oriented Organization

       On the morning of Mar. 7, Party Secretary Wu Zhigong attended 2012 Cadres Debriefing Appraisal Conference of General Party Branch, and emphasized that cadres should improve study and strive to build a learning, innovative and service-oriented party organization.

        After listened to the reports delivered by 15 Functional Departments, Wu Zhigong gave affirmation to the work of General Party Branch andFunctional Departments done in last year. Meanwhile, he pointed, there existed great distance between our school and other prestigious Universities at home and broad in many areas. Embodied in the lack of international competitiveness in many core index and international top-level talent team and scientific research platform. There is still a long way to construct high-level University for our school.

        To improve our school’s international competitiveness rapidly, and build our school into a high-level University, Party Secretary Wu Zhigong put forward two requirements to cadres: one is to continuously strengthen learning, the other is to apply the learned knowledge. In addition, he put forward further requirements to General Party Branch: to focus on the hot issues that all the staff members concerned, and positively exert their functions; with regard to the promotion of economic and social benefits, two aspects of work should be strengthened: first, pay more attention to the training of the party members and cadres; second, emphasize the selection, training and check on cadres, strengthen cadres’ abilities of analysis, judgment, creativity, implementation, and build a learning, innovative and service-oriented organization, in order to help realize the scientific, rapid and sustainable development for our school.
