The Inauguration Ceremony of NCEPU & ASUS Motion-sensing Innovation Lab Successfully Held

        News from Baoding campus: On March 14^th, the inauguration ceremony of NCEPU & ASUS Motion-sensing Innovation Lab was held successfully by Mathematical & Physical School. Deputy secretary of NCEPU party committee and vice president Zhang Jinhui, president assistant Mi Zengqiang, managing director of ASUS Technology Co., Ltd(Suzhou) Gao Zhiyuan, school leaders of office of academic affairs, office of science and technology, office of students’ affairs, Youth League committee and division leaders of ASUS presented the ceremony, which was chaired by Zhang Xiaohong, dean of  School of Mathematics and Physics.

        Amid warm applause, deputy secretary Zhang Jinhui and managing director Gao Zhiyuan inaugurated the NCEPU & ASUS Motion-sensing Innovation Lab. In Zhang’s speech, he extended his warm welcome to MD Gao and other colleagues accompanied and expressed his gratitude for their generous support in industry-academy-research cooperation.

        Later in Mr. Gao’s speech, an introduction was given to the development of ASUS Technology Co., Ltd (Suzhou), presenting the most advanced research fruit of ASUS Group. He also stressed that ASUS Group, as always, attaches great importance to the cooperation with universities. The establishment of Motion-sensing Innovation Lab is the first step of long-term cooperation with NCEPU. ASUS is willing to work more closely with NCEPU and take advantage of enterprise-university cooperation, making due contribution to the industrialization of NCEPU’s scientific fruit.

        Later, Zhang Jinhui, Gao Zhiyuan accompanied by other leaders, paid a visit to the newly-established Motion-sensing Innovation Lab and had friendly communication with teachers and students present.

At the end of ceremony, Zhang Xiaohong, dean of School of Mathematics and Physics once again expressed his sincere gratitude for the strong support from ASUS Technology Co., Ltd (Suzhou), and support from leaders and teachers of NCEPU. The School of Mathematics and Physics will take full advantage of the Motion-sensing Innovation Lab as a platform and manage to make achievement in enterprise-university cooperation, talent-cultivation, technology-innovation and team-building, contributing to the construction of a top-level university.
