NCEPU’s 6th Faculty Congress and 8th Trade Union Congress Came to a Successful Close

        In the afternoon of Feb.23^rd, NCEPU’s 6th Faculty Congress and 8th Trade Union Congress concluded with all agenda and tasks accomplished successfully. School leaders including Wu Zhigong, Liu Jizhen, Zhang Jinhui, An Liansuo, Li Shuangchen, Hao Yingjie, Yang Yongping, Sun Pingsheng, Sun Zhongquan, Wang Zengping and members of presidium are seated on rostrum. The closing ceremony is chaired by Vice President An Liansuo.

        In the congress, the votes of each candidate of the 8th Trade Union Committee and the 8th Trade Union Fund Audit Committee were announced and the name lists of the elected ones in both committees were released.

        Meanwhile, a series of resolutions and reports were released after deliberation and approved by warm applause, includingThe Resolution of NCEPU 6th Faculty Congress and 8th Trade Union Congress, Financial Work Report in 2012, Work Report on Proposal of Faculty Congress, Financial Work Report of the 7th Trade Union Committee, Work Report of the 7th Fund Audit Committee. 

        Furthermore, the congress advocated that teaching staff should fully implement the ideas and tasks of work established in the congress under the guidance of the spirit of the 18th CPC National Congress and the 1st NCEPU Congress of Party Representatives, and in accordance with the strategic objectives and important measures posed inChina’s 12^th Five-year Plan. All staff should spare no effort to build a high-level university with greater enthusiasm, higher morale, steadfast faith and diligent work and welcome the 55^th anniversary of NCEPU with outstanding achievements.

         Later, the school Party secretary Wu Zhigong delivered a speech titled Constructing Advanced Modern University System with Chinese Characteristics, Boosting the Building and Development of High-level University. Then with the passionate school song of NCEPU, the congress came to a successful close.
