Grand Celebration Was Held in NCEPU to Observe the New Year’s Day

       On the night of Dec. 31^st, 2012, a grand New Year ’s Day celebration was held in the auditorium of NCEPU. School leaders, Mr. Hao Yingjie, and Mr. Sun Zhongquan, as well as chief leaders of all schools and departments gathered together with teachers and students, waiting for the arrival of a brand new year with greatjoy.

       Deputy Secretary Hao Yingjie, on behalf of school, extended his New Year’s greetings and warmest wishes to all teachers and students for their arduous efforts made last year. He hoped all teachers and students can press on andstrive to build up NCEPU into a top university in near future.

       In the most exciting lottery part, the lucky ones was drew out from lucky draw box by teachers and got gifts and had photos taken with teachers. It was then followed by two movies named The Mechanic and I Do, in which students immersed themselves and had a pleasant time for their fascinating stories.

       At the same time, a masquerade was held in the gymnasium surrounded by colorful balloons, which falls into three parts, i.e. “Dance Show”, “Free Dance” and “Countdown to Midnight”.  All students ran high and enjoyed their dancing in dazzling lights.

      The hot atmosphere of the dancing party was triggered by the performance from Ling Dian Band. After their passionate song, teachers of “Modern Dance Association” began to teach attendees its basic steps. More and more students, having been encouraged by ardent dancers from Street Dance Club and Latin Dance Club, asked dancing partners nearby to dance together in foggy light with flying skirts. Every step, forward or back, bears grace and effortlessness of the dancers. The climax of the party came with the performances by every school and department, such as solo dances, group dances, sole and antiphonal songs and so on, which aroused the cheerful viewers With the chime of the New Year’s bell, President Liu Jizhen delivered the New Year’s speech by broadcast.

       In a joyful atmosphere, we bade farewell together to the fruitful year 2012 and embraced a promising new year 2013.
