Students of NCEPU (Baoding Campus) Achieved Gratifying Results in the Third Industrial Innovation Design Competition for Undergraduates

        Recently, the Award Ceremony of the Third Hebei Industrial Innovation Design Competition for Undergraduates & the First University–Enterprise Cooperation Forum was held in the Provincial Party School of Hebei. Mr. Fan Xiaoliang, dean of Mechanical & Engineering Department, Mr. Zhao Dongming, Deputy Secretary of the School League Committee, and the awardees attended the Award Ceremony.

        After several rounds of intense competition, students from NCEPU stood themselves out from more than 900 works of 40 universities in Hebei and received a number of awards, of which “man-machine hairdryer” designed by Shi Yi, Zhao Kaixun, Cao Jing won the second prize, “versatile sofa” designed by Feng Mengmeng, Li Yue and “G-sensor alarm for infusion bottle” by Zhou Yunge, Gu Weicong won the third prize and “harmony” by Xu Mingliang won the third prize of the given-topic group.  Besides, over 10 works by NCEPUwere honored with the Awards for Excellence.

        Jointly held by Hebei Science and Technology Agency, Hebei Intellectual Property Office, Hebei Finance Department, Hebei Communist Youth League Committee and Hebei Inventor Association with the theme of “Innovation Advances Development”, the competition aims at advocating innovation spirit, stimulating creativity passion and cultivating innovative talents. It strives to build a positive atmosphere of “respect for labor, respect for knowledge, respect for talents and respect for creation” so that “every ordinary guy has a chance to be a talent and to demonstrate their talents to the fullest”
