President Liu Jizhen Visited Student Dormitory on Baoding Campus

        News from Baoding: In the afternoon on December 24, President Liu Jizhen, accompanied by Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Vice President Zhang Jinhui, Vice President Wang Zengping and Assistant Guo Xiaofeng visited the second Student Dormitory on Baoding Campus. President Liu Jizhen talked with the students affectionately and sent the sincere greetings and care on behalf of the school.Directors ofParty Committee Office and College President Office, Student Affairs Department , Logistics Group, and other functional departments also accompanied visit.

        In room 109 of the 13th dormitory building where first year students of College of Environmental Science and Engineering stay, President Liu tested the heating temperature as soon as he came in the room, and asked the students if the room was cold or not, which made the students feel kind and warm.President Liu sat among the students, and had a deep conversation with them.

        In room 111, President Liu kindly asked the living condition at school when he knew a student came from Tianshui in Gansu province, whose orchard at home was seriously damaged by disaster. Having learned that the student not only got state grants, but also actively participated in school’s work-study program, and undertook social work in Department Student Union, President Liu expressed recognition and appreciation. At the same time, he told students to communicate with his class advisor and supervisor in time if they were in need of anything. Our school would effectively guarantee students from poor families an equal life and study environment.

        In addition, President Liu communicated with the students about the cafeteria diet, physical activity, dormitory environment, and medical services. President Liu hoped students to study happily, pay attention to physical exercises and comprehensive development in order to make greater progress. Through this visit, students were deeply impressed by President Liu because of his amiable, approachable and knowledgeable personality. They deeply felt care and love from our school. The students said that they would not fail President’s expectation, and that they would do as the President said to be truly qualified as a student of NCEPU, and to stay grateful for school and make contribution to society.
