NCEPU Makes Continuous Progress in the National Ranking of Scientific Papers Published in 2011

        On Dec. 6^th, the statistical result of the Chinese Scientific papers published in 2011 was released. According to the statistics, NCEPU ranked 75 among all the higher education institutions in the amount of the scientific papers published on the domestic magazines, 89 in the amount of scientific papers published on the SCIE, 41 in the amount of scientific papers published on EI and 33 in the amount of scientific papers published on CPCI-S.

        The number of the papers written by the students or teachers in NCEPU that were recorded by the SCIE data base in 2011 was 296, 1.43 times of the number of 2010 and 2.2 times of that of 2009, rising to the 89^th  place in the SCIE ranking from the 113^th place in 2010. And the number of the papers from NCEPU was 762, gaining a 17% growth than that of 2010, and 79.5% growth than that of 2009, rising from the 41^st place to the second place.

        The amount, the times and the rank of the SCI papers of disk version of NCEPU rose to 161, 427 and 126 from 108, 242 and 131 of 2010. This shows that besides the growth in the amount of the published papers, there is also a significant improvement in the quality of the papers and the influence of the global academic capabilities of NCEPU.

        Note: the statistics and analysis data of Chinese scientific and technical papers, released by China Science and Technology Information Institute, Ministry of Science and Technology, is not only the authoritative statistics but also an important indicator to the assessment of the scientific and technological development of China. And the statistics of the papers published on the international magazines are from SCI, EI, CPCI-S, MEDLINE and SSCI. And the statistics of the papers on the domestic magazines are from CSTPCD of China Science and Technology Information Institute.
