NCEPU Wins Two “Excellent Product” Awards on Hi-tech Fair of China

       From Nov.16^th to Nov.21^st, the 14^th Hi-tech Fair of China was held in Shenzhen. Mr. Yongxiang, the Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the NPC, Mr. Wan Gang, the Vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and the Head of the Ministry of Science and Technology attended the opening ceremony. And Mr. Yang Yongping, the Vice President of NCEPU was present at the opening ceremony on behalf of our university.

        Ten projects that can be utilized in the cooperation of the industry, university and research were presented by NCEPU on the Fair, among which the “Biomass crawler pyrolysis carbonizing and compression-forming equipment” and the “Sunlight importing device” won the “Excellent Product” Awards after going through the strict assessment of the experts panel. Meanwhile, the delicate arrangement and organization of our work staff won the praise of the organizing committee and got the “Outstanding Organization” Award.

        The theme of this session of Hi-tech Fair of China is “Promoting technological innovations and enhancing the development quality”. Through a series of exhibitions, forums and activities, it manifested that China had made great achievements through the development driven by innovation. Focused on the seven strategic emerging industries, this fair attracted many new technologies and products in energy conservation, the manufacturing of the information technological, biological and hi-end equipment, new material and new energy vehicles.

        Three thousand one hundred and thirty two investors, 111 delegations and 2,976 exhibitors with 15,533 projects from 67 countries & regions participated in this fair. Among all the exhibiting enterprises, there are 89 international ones and the overseas exhibitors took up 10,000 m². The total number of the attendants reached 538,000 and the BHRI of the professional attendants reached 230 which were higher than the figures of the last session.
