Secretary Wu Zhigong of NCEPU Met Ding Zhiming CPPCC Vice Chairman of Haidian District

       On the afternoon of November 7, Wu Zhigong, Party Secretary of NCEPU met Ding Zhiming,CPPCC Vice Chairman of Haidian District at D929 of the main building.

       Han Song, Officer of CPPCC Committee Office of Haidian District, Zhang Tianxing, Member of the School Party Standing Committee and the Minister of the Organization Department, Xu Hong, Secretary of Party General Branch of School of Energy, Power and Mechanical Engineering and Xian Haizhen, teacher of School of Energy, Power and Mechanical Engineering attended the meeting.

       Vice Chairman Ding Zhiming indicated in his speech that Xian Haizhen, as the Deputy Director of Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League in Haidian District of Beijing, has obtained outstanding achievements in her work. The United Front Work Department of Haidian District always attaches great importance to the different kinds of the united front staffs including Ms. Xian. He said, “Today, we paid a visit to NCEPU and expressed our regards to Ms. Xian. We sincerely hope that Ms. Xian can make more contributions to the development of NCEPU and Haidian District.”Vice Chairman Ding Zhiming also introduced the development of Haidian District for the past few years and future working plan for Haidian District. He expected that they can conduct a series of cooperation with NCEPU and strengthen the links on developing strategies, scientific research and project investment and achieve the win-win income.

       Secretary Wu Zhigong expressed deep gratitude to Haidian District for their long-term supports to NCEPU in his speech. He pointed that NCEPU always attached great importance to the united front work. It is a significant part for building a high level university. He sincerely hoped that NCEPU can work together with Haidian District and launch more exchanges and cooperation on new resources and strategic emerging industries and make contributions on building Beijing as a world city with Chinese characteristics. He also hoped that Ms. Xian can fully act as a link and make good use of her professional advantage, and with the new common point in development, make contributions to the development of NCEPU, Haidian District and Beijing as well.

       After the meeting, Vice Chairman Ding Zhiming, accompanied by Secretary Xu Hong, and Ms. Xian Haizhen of School of Energy, Power and Mechanical Engineering visited the relevant laboratories and listened to the reports.
