Roof Photovoltaic Generation Demonstration Project of NCEPUHas Been Verifiedfor Acceptance

       On the afternoon of October 31, the acceptance inspection meeting for roof photovoltaic generation demonstration project of NCEPU was convened in the No.1 meeting room of the main building.

       Mr. He Changjiang, the director of Public Agency Energy Management Division of Government Offices Administration of the State Council, Mr. Liu Chengmao, the director of Promotion and Guiding Department, the representatives from China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group and Yingli Solar Company and Yang Yongping, Vice President of NCEPU attended the meeting. The related staffs from the Party Committee Office, Finance Department, Capital Construction Department, Cooperation Office of University and Enterprises and Logistics Management Department of NCEPU also participated in the meeting.

       Vice President Yang Yongping indicated in his speech that photovoltaic generation demonstration project built a platform featuring cooperation and communication, mutual support and mutual benefit for both parties. Our university should fully capitalize on the advantages of solar generation project, expand the beneficial interests and genuinely and reasonably implement the energy saving and emission reduction. Meanwhile, our university has positively launched a series of activities on energy saving and emission reduction, which aims to graduallystrengthen the environmental protection thoughts and ideas on low carbon, green and energy saving. Our university will further improve the construction of energy saving project. At present, we conduct the scheme demonstration on distributed energy system of tri-generation(combined heat and power with cooling),hoping obtaining the supports from the Government Offices Administration of the State Council.

       Director He Changjiang fully affirmed the importance and necessity of roof photovoltaic generation demonstration project implemented in school.At the same time, he indicated that the policy support of this project should be strengthened. In the end, Director He Changjiang put forward that colleges and universities as the relatively intensive public agencies for talents and technologies should improve the public influences of energy saving, continuously deepen the energy saving awareness among teachers and students, which aims to make environmental protection become a kind of habit and common practice.

       Director He Changjiang and Vice President Yang Yongping has also conducted deep and wide exchanges on distributed energy, the transformation of gas boiler and saving type public service agency and rational utilization of the resources. After the meeting, all the participants paid a visit to the data platform for the roof photovoltaic generation demonstration project, the monitoring room and the project site.
