A New “Base for Introducing Talents of Discipline to Universities” Added in NCEPU

        According to the over plan of the 12th Five-Year Plan, the appraisal of 2013 “Programme of Introducing Talents of Discipline to Universities”(“111 Programme”) was accomplished, which was launched by Ministry of Education and State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs. Totally 45 bases have been taken as the approval construction projects in 2013, including “Intelligentized and Distributed Energy System Innovation Base for Introducing Talents of Discipline to Universities”in NCEPU.

       This project in NCEPU was under the lead of Professor Shi Liu of Control Science and Computer Engineering School. Relied on the preponderant disciplines, like energy and power and automatic control etc., the project joined lots of high level scholars from world-leading universities together with us to launch multidisciplinary research. This project is the third talents introducing bases in NCEPU after “Pan-Power Grid Protection and Safety Defense Base for Introducing Talents of Discipline to Universities”and “The Clean Transformation and Efficient Uti

        Launched by Ministry of Education and State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, “111 Project”aims at introducing 1,000 excellent talents from the top 100 universities and research institutes in the world to build high-level research teams and establishing about 100 world-class bases for introducing talents of discipline to universities. It keeps up with the development of the international disciplines, unites with the international leading and state prioritizing disciplines realm in the universities and takes the state, provincial and sectional key scientific research bases as the platforms.
