Baoding Campus Achieved Excellent Prize in National Aerobics Contest

        From October 10 to 15, the finals for 2012 Credit Card Cup National Aerobics Contest sponsored by the Agricultural Bank of China were held at the Olympic Sailing Center in Qingdao City, Shandong Province. With consummate skills and excellent performances, the aerobics team of NCEPU (Baoding Campus) won the first prize for the sixth-level light equipment in college group, the second prize for the sixth-level dance and the second prize for the sixth-level movements in adult public aerobics (Sixth is the highest level). NCEPU also won the Best Organization Award. The outstanding performance of NCEPU drew media’s attention and the team for the sixth-level dance was selected by the Organizing Committee to participate in the awards show on CCTV-5 and Qingdao TV. This is a new milestone set in by NCEPU aerobics team.

       The contest was organized by the Gymnastics Sports Management Center under State General Administration of Sports, China Aerobics Association and Qingdao Municipal People's Government and was hosted the Olympic City Development Association of Qingdao, Qingdao Municipal Sports Bureau and Qingdao Sports Association. NCEPU competed with nearly 2,500 athletes from 200 excellent teams in the contest. This is also the largest aerobics contest with the most competition items in China.

       The contest was supported by the school leaders and attached with importance. Director of the Department of Physical Education Fang Youguang, Branch Party Secretary Li Quanhua guided and examined the teams. They also motivated all the athletes before contest, encouraging them to achieve excellent results for NCEPU. Wang Zelin from the Department of Physical Education acts as coach and the team members include Lin Lin, Shi Xiaoli, Dai Wei, Wang Xiaomeng, Liu Shiyun, Yang Yawei, Xing Jialei and Feng Jinghao. All the team members followed the strict instructions and their performance met with the requirements of NCEPU and the organizers, becoming a perfect interpretation of NCEPU spirits.
