NCEPU Education Foundation Convened Special Meeting on Investment

       On the morning of October 9, the first Council for Beijing NCEPU Education Foundation convened a special meeting on investment at D929 of the main building.

       Foundation Chairman Wu Zhigong, Vice Chairman Lei Yingqi and Sun Pingsheng, Supervisor Qi Xiangjun and members of the Council participated in the meeting.

       On behalf of the Asset Investment Management Committee of the Foundation, Vice Chairman Sun Pingsheng introduced the investment projects to the Council. Members of the Council analyzed and discussed the prospects, risks and returns of the investment projects, and approved the projects by voting.

        The Foundation Secretary Chen Zhaojiang announced the fund-raising progress and allocation of financial funds in 2012.

       Foundation Chairman and Party Secretary of NCEPU Wu Zhigong pointed out in his speech that University Foundation is the proper means for constructing high-level university. We can not dodge the historical trend, world development or other macroeconomic factors in the process of building a high-level university. It has important significance in inspiring us in the construction of a modern university system with Chinese characteristics. Currently, the development of the Foundation should be placed on the height of the school development strategy and be attached with great importance. To achieve further development, cadre cultivation is of urgent need. NCEPU should foster a number of cadres with firm belief, high academic standards and strong business management capabilities. Meanwhile, all the functional organs, schools, and departments should further improve the efficiency and focus on the sustainability and efficiency of the iconic outcomes. We should fully understand that the University Foundation is one of the important platforms for building high-level university. We should also make full use of this favorable platform to attract more social and commercial funds, accelerate its development and contribute to the construction of a modern university system with Chinese characteristics.
