In early September 2012, Gao Min from the Business & Administration School of NCEPU received the "China Civil Engineering Society Outstanding Graduate Award" from China Civil Engineering Society and Zhan Tianyou Civil Engineering Foundation. By far, the project management department has gained this award for three consecutive years. China Civil Engineering Society is a first-level national society. It set up the "China Civil Engineering Society Outstanding Graduate Award" in 1989 to praise the outstanding college graduates majoring in civil engineering and architecture. The award selection will be organized once a year and 30 graduates will be chosen as winners, including 9 project management majors. This year, hundreds of colleges and universities across the country participated in the recommendation work for "China Civil Engineering Society Outstanding Graduate Award". The Education Working Committee under China Civil Engineering Society organized expert review and the Society Secretariat examined the result. Gao Min, an Engineering Management major from the Business & Administration School won the reward and would receive the certificate and prize at the National Working Meeting for Civil Engineering Department Principals at Colleges and Universities in Xi'an in November 2012. Yang Yisheng and Liu Lirong, also engineering management graduates from NCEPU, received this honor in 2010 and 2011 respectively. All of these three outstanding graduates continued their studies at NCEPU Graduate School. Professor Wu Yunna, head of project management teaching team, become their instructor.
