NCEPU Student Won Women Racing Champion

       On the morning of September 7, the "China Fitness Famous Mountain Climbers Race”, co-sponsored by the China Mountaineering Association and the China Landscape and Historic Sites Association, started at Huashan Mountain in Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. Sportsmen from all over the country and nearly one thousand mountain climbers geared up for a showdown. After intense competition, Gan Xue, student from the North China Electric Power University won the women's racing champion with the final score of 1 hour and 12 minutes.

       Gan Xue has achieved good results and rankings in previous games but this time is the best. Reporter with People's Daily Online also interviewed her. This game raised the reputation of NCEPU and enhanced the athlete's self-confidence. It is believed that they will carry forward the spirits of NCEPU, i.e. "self-reliance, unity, dedication and pursuit of excellence" in the future. With hard training, they will create more excellent results and strive for greater honors in future games.
