Yang Yongping inspected Department of International Cooperation, International Education Institute

       On August 20th, Vice President Yang Yongping inspected work of the Department of International Cooperation and the International Education Institute and made in-depth discussions with the head board members of the two departments.

       Yang Yongping listened carefully to the reports on the preparatory work for the coming semester and the enrollment of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs. He asked in detail about the student registration status, teaching management as well as related working arrangements.

       After listening to the work reports, Yang Yongping put forward specific requirements and instructions on international exchange and international education. Yang pointed out that, the two departments should nail down the student training objectives and teaching system for international cooperation projects, make further analysis on the development needs of international students and strengthen management and services for students studying abroad. The two departments should also strive to achieve the coordinated development of scale, quality, structure and efficiency in foreign student enrollment. Yang also asked the Department of International Cooperation and the International Education Institute to upgrade rules and regulations and rationalize the internal management system in the new semester on basis of comprehensive research. At the same time, he reminded the two departments to actively create good atmosphere of international exchange on campus, open up new situation for international exchanges and cooperation, and welcome the new semester with new spirits and attitudes.
