The First Working Conference among USCO Chinese Project Universities on Energy Study Was Held in NCEPU

     On June 12^th, the first working conference among Chinese project universities of energy study in Universityof Shanghai Cooperation Organization(shortened to USCO) was held in NCEPU. Leaders and colleagues from Department of International Cooperation and Exchange in Ministry of Education, President’s Committee of USCO, Secretariat of Chinese Internal Coordinating Mechanism in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Harbin Institute of Technology, China University of Petroleum, Lanzhou University of Technology as well as the vice president of NCEPU Yang Yongping, attended the conference.

    Vice president Yang extended warm welcome to the present leaders and colleagues. He said that since the ministerial conference among members of SCO in September 2010 when NCEPU became the leading university among USCO Chinese project universities on energy study, the university has taken an active part in promoting the development of energy study in USCO. This working conference aims to advance the effective operation in USCO Chinese project universities in terms of energy study under the joint efforts of present colleagues.
