NCEPU Held Science and Technology Cooperation Forum with Jinan Development and Reform Commission and High-Tech Zone

     On the afternoon of June 15^th, NCEPU held Science and Technology Cooperation Forum with Jinan Development and Reform Commission and High-Tech Zone in Room D216 of the main building. Yang Yongping, Vice President of NCEPU; Zhang Jun, Deputy Director of Jinan Development and Reform Commission, Lv Jiantao, Deputy Director of Jinan High-Tech Zone Committee attended the forum and delivered speeches. Xie Kun, Division Chief of Industry and High-Tech Industry Department of Jinan Development and Reform Commission; Meng Lin, Deputy Director of Jinan High-Tech Zone Software Park; Zhang Yi, Principal Staff Member of Jinan Development and Reform Commission; Qu Yixiao, Project Supervisor of Jinan High-Tech Zone; Zhao Xiuguo, Division Chief of Personnel Department of NCEPU, as well as main heads of Industry Department, Science and Technology Department, Personnel Department, Electrical & Electronic Engineering School, National Engineering Laboratory for Biomass Power Generation Equipment and national-level university science park also attended the forum.

    Vice President Yang Yongping expressed welcome to the attendees, and made a brief introduction to the development history of our university, and the achievements NCEPU had made in terms of talent training, discipline construction, scientific research, school-running scale and faculty development in recent years.  

     He pointed out that, as an electric power university with distinct discipline characteristics, NCEPU has been devoted to combining knowledge and productivity, and had explored a university-thriving road of university-enterprise and university-local organization cooperation. NCEPU would continue to promote its innovative ability, strengthen deeper cooperation with enterprises, research institutions and local governments, as well as give full play to its advantages so as to serve the demand of enterprises and local organizations in accordance with the demand of “meeting the urgent requirement of the state and striving for world-class university” of “collaborative innovation plan for 2011”.  

     Vice President Yang said that NCEPU has attached great importance to the cooperation with local organizations, devoted to establishing collaborative innovation pattern in various forms so as to achieve the win-win situation of both talent cultivation and the development of local economy. This forum is the first of its kind between NCEPU and Jinan Development and Reform Commission and High-Tech Zone. Therefore, Mr. Yang hoped that both sides would have comprehensive discussion on scientific and research cooperation, arrive at consensus on mutual understanding, and make substantial development with a view to laying deeper foundation for future cooperation.
