The Fifth Session of the First Beijing NCEPU Education Foundation Council was held

　　 In the morning of June 14th, The Fifth Session of the First Beijing NCEPU Education Foundation Council was heldin D216 in the main building. Wu Zhigong, Foundation Chairman and the School Party Secretary, Lei Yingqi, Vice-president of the Foundation, Sun Pingsheng, Lee Heming, the Foundation directors and relative staff attended the meeting.

　　After discussion, the meeting examined and adopted the “2011 Annual Business Plan Executionand Financial Final Report”, “2012 Annual Business Plan and Financial Budget Report”(draft), “Beijing NCEPU Education Foundation Assets Investment Management Approach”(review draft), "The Establishment of Asset Investment Management Committee”(review draft), XinJiang Electric Power High-level personnel Training Fund"(discussion draft), the meeting also examined and passed the proposal that Chu Jingchun director no longer hold the post, and appointed Hu Sangao as director.

　　Wu Zhigong, Foundation chairman and the school party secretary said that since its establishment, the Education Foundation had made breakthrough progress in many aspects in accordance with the law and on the basic of rules, which has important strategic significance for the proper role of foundation development. University Foundation was one of the important platforms for the construction of high-level university, in this area; many first-class universities had made a model for us. In 2012 and the future work, we should keep developing the significant role of Education Foundation as an important platform in the process of high-level University construction.

　　Secretary Wu said that the projects came out from Foundation 2012 annual business plan such as the establishment of “donation of alumni to the Fund”, “alumni construction and management of the Fund”, etc. reflected the advanced mode and idea of the modern university system. He hoped that each school and department can take full advantage of this favorable platform in innovative thinking, promote the rapid development of school personnel training, scientific research, school-enterprise cooperation and international cooperation in the process of achieving social capital, enterprise support and countries supporting. During the meeting, for Education Foundation of NCEPU, participants also discussed on other topics such as how to further improve regulations, how to learn from the advanced operation idea, and how to play its proper role in the process of development of school construction.
