16 Postgraduates of NCEPU Were Sponsored by CSC in 2012

      According to concerned regulations, China Scholarship Council ensured the list of 2012 nation-constructing high-level university government sponsorship postgraduate program after the experts’ inspection to the candidates recommended by the various universities, and approval of the Ministry of Education.The list would be published online on May 10, 2012. NCEPU’s 16 students were awarded the funding. The number of both applicants and subsidized students reached the most.

      There are totally 48 students being awarded the funding since 2008 when NCEPU began to implement this project. In recent years, the work of postgraduate studying abroad on government sponsorship achieved great success. The number of students rose from 7 in 2008 to 16 in 2012. Before 2011, NCEPU could only apply “nation special postgraduate scholarship program”, but now NCEPU has already become the signing-up school of “nation-constructing high-level university government sponsorship postgraduate program”, and 12 students were awarded the funding in the first year.

      In order to strengthen NCEPU’s academic construction and the development of key disciplines, improve the level of personnel training and scientific research, graduate school constantly improves the regulations and selection procedure, which ensures the openness and fairness of selection, and lays good foundation for selection work. Currently, the students from NCEPU mostly study in America, Canada, Germany, Japan, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Australia and other developed countries. The implementation of this program broadens graduates’ horizon and promotes the international cooperation with famous universities and research and scientific institutes, accelerates NCEPU’s internationalization process and the realization of “first-rate university”.
