NCEPU Signed up Agreement with SGERI

      On March 21, NCEPU Signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with State Grid Energy Research Institute (SGERI) in Beijing. It was attended by President Liu Jizhen, vice president Li Heming,  vice president Yang Yongping, Dean of SGERI and deputy secretary of committee of the SGERI, Zhang Yunzhou, secretary of committee of the SGERI, Yu Xuehao and deputy secretary of committee of the SGERI, Discipline Inspection Team leader and Chairman of the Trade Union Niu Zhongbao, vice president of SGERI Hu Zhaoguang , vice president Jiang Liping, chief economist Li Ying, and chief engineer Ge Xubo. SGERI vice president Hu Zhaoguang and NCEPU vice president Li Heming signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on behalf of both sides.

      President Liu Jizhen delivered a warm speech in the ceremony. He believed that, the agreement between SGERI and NCEPU was an important action to implement technology innovation system which is “Enterprises as the mainstay, market-oriented and combination of production, teaching and research”, and it would further promote bilateral cooperation to a new stage and level. President Liu hoped that, both sides would take full advantage to carry out in-depth cooperation centering on major issues of national energy and power development. NCEPU professors and SGERI researchers would continue deepening in the academic exchanges and cooperation, promote sharing and efficient utilization of resources, to provide a better service for the development of national energy & power industries.

    Zhang Yunzhou, president of SGERI also delivered a speech. He said that both SGERI and NCEPU have respective features and strengths, and by the strategic cooperation. President Zhang made three points Firstly, both sides should strive for the integration of study and research as well as complementary advantages, and build a long-period, meaningful, and valuable cooperation on the basis of previous ones. Secondly, actual goals should be realized with practical collaboration as the starting point. Meanwhile, both sides also should strengthen talents exchange and further cooperation by means of independent project setup and joint declaration. Thirdly, academic seminar need to be jointly held in which hot issues are researched by concentrating the advantages of both SGERI and NCEPU in order to provide timely and valid suggestions for relevant governmental departments.

      Secretary Yu Shuhao presided over the forum and stated that it was assured to gain fruitful results and to effectively improve the support to the progress of energy & power industries as well as State Grid Corporation through the strong-union between SGERI and NCEPU. He hoped the scholars and experts would give their opinions actively on social focus and problems, to improve the influence and fame of both sides.

      In addition, both sides also discussed in-depth during the meeting and exchanged views on implementing agreement, promoting systematization and normalization of collaboration, setting up cooperation institutes, and realizing complementary advantages etc.

     According to the agreement, SGERI and NCEPU would carry out in-depth cooperation in project research, personnel training, etc.
