“Electrical & Electronic Cup” Winter Long-Distance Hike was Held in NCEPU

        On November 22^nd, “Electrical & Electronic Cup” winter long-distance hike was held by the Labor Union of NCEPU to enrich culture life for teaching staff and promote mass sport. Responding to the union’s call, over 1,100 teachers from 17 branch unions participated in the hike.

        The long-distance hike began at 12:30. All staff started from the north gate of NCEPU, went eastward, passed International Exchange Center, Qibei Road and Erbozi Overpass successively, and finally reached the west square of the main building. Despite the windy and dusty weather, teaching staff walked in pleasant spirit.

        The long-distance winter hike held annually by NCEPU Labor Union attracts wide attention with participation of most staff. They hold that long-distance hike is a simple, effective and safe way of aerobic exercise which can not only strengthen body and enhance communication but also reduce stress and build strong will. The hike, supported by School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering,  greatly improved the consciousness of exercise and demonstrated staff’s healthy mental outlook  with positive effect.
