NCEPU Team Won 7 Gold Medals in Hebei University and Middle School Student Martial Arts Competition

        Report from Baoding campus: Hebei University and Middle School Student Martial Arts Competition, hosted by Hebei Education Department, was held in Hebei University from November 18^th to 19^th, 2011. About 300 athletes from 25 universities and middle schools in Hebei Province took part in the competition. After two-day endeavor, out of the undergraduate team B which contained teams from 13 universities, NCEPU team finally won seven gold medals, two runner-ups and two third winners on account of consummate skills and splendid performance, and Fan Wenzhuo won the PE Morality Award. The gold medal winners included Wei Liangrui, Lai Xiangyu, Nie Chuang, Liu Lianghuo and Fan Wenzhuo. With the best achievement NCEPU team had made, it marked historic breakthrough.

        During the competition, teachers and students made joint efforts. Fang Youguang, director of the Department of Physical Education guided through the competition; Zhu Zhijie, Secretary of Party General Branch of North China Electric Power University Science & Technology College cheered for members on the court. In the end, the excellent performance and remarkable spirit of team members won honor for NCEPU.
