NCEPU Team Won First Prize in 2011 National Aerobics Competition (Hebei Division)

        Report from Baoding campus: From October 28^th to 30^th, the 2011 National Aerobics Competition (Hebei Division) and 2011 Hebei Aerobics Elite Competition was held in the National Table Tennis Training Base in Zhengding, Shijiazhuang. NCEPU team won the first prize and the PE Morality Award in the competition on account of their hard work and splendid performance, which was a historic breakthrough for NCEPU.

        Jointly hosted by General Administration of Sport of China, Hebei Sports Bureau, Hebei Gymnastics Association and undertook by Hebei Institute of Physical Education, this competition was attended by nearly 700 athletes from more than 50 teams of 20 universities and colleges such as NCEPU, Hebei Normal University, Hebei Institute of Physical Education, being the biggest of its kind since the popularity of the aerobics in Hebei Province.

        The NCEPU team was made up of Lin Lin, Dai Wei, Wang Kuan, Tian Jingfeng, Wu Han and Shi Xiaoli, led by Fang Youguang, Director of the Physical Education Department and coached by Wang Zelin.

        On October 28^th, the 6-athlete NCEPU team ranked first in the group game with a score of 17.13 and secured their passage to the final. In the second round, the team achieved victory with a high score of 17.43. Then on October 29^th, the NCEPU team won the first prize in the National Aerobics Competition with the highest score of 17.80, which surpassed 0.33 over the runner-up.

        All members of the NCEPU Team were strict with themselves. They won the PE Morality Award because that they met all requirement of the competition, cleaned the site voluntarily and gave hands to other teams, which fully demonstrated the spirit of sportsmanship.
