Deputy Minister of Ministry of Education Du Zhanyuan Visited NCEPU’s Exhibition Booth in 2011 China International Industrial Fair

        The 2011 China International Industrial Fair was inaugurated on November 1^st in Shanghai. Yu Zhengsheng, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, declare the commencement of the fair. Han Zheng, Deputy Secretary of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and mayor of Shanghai, Miao Wei, head of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology,  Liu Tienan, Deputy Director of National Development and Reform Commission, and Chong Quan, deputy representative for international trade negotiation from Ministry of Commerce, made speeches respectively in the opening ceremony.

        On behalf of the organizing committee of China International Industrial Fair, Shanghai Communist Party and Shanghai government, Mr. Han Zheng extened sincere appreciation to people of all circles who insistently cared about and supported the fair. Thirteen-year development has made China International Industrial Fair the largest exhibition with complete function and highest level in China. In this year, beginning year of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, the 2011 China International Industrial Fair fully demonstrated the goal of serving national strategy with the themed of “Innovation Transfer and Strategic Emerging Industries”.

        Among the 13 exhibition halls, the W5 Hall housed the 60 Chinese universities.

        NCEPU attached great importance to this industry fair and selected 10 projects for exhibition in different ways, including  optimum design technology of biomass boiler, solar thermal collector with oscillation heat pipe, slurry circulation liquid pump impeller  with strong corrosion and abrasion resistance for desulphurization system in thermal power plants, photoconductive lighting system, system design and optimum control of wind turbine generators.

        After the opening ceremony, Du Zhanyuan, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Education, visited the booth of NCEPU in the exhibition hall for Chinese universities, accompanied by Li Zhimin, head of Science and Technological Development Center of Ministry of Education.

        Launched in Shanghai in 1999, the China International Industrial Fair was jointly sponsored by National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Shanghai Municipal Government and assisted by China Machinery Industry Federation.
