President Liu Jizhen Attended the Fifth Annual High-level Industry-oriented University Development Forum

        On November 4^th, the Fifth Annual High-level Industry-oriented University Development Forum was held in Jiangnan University, attended by representatives from Department of National Universities of Ministry of Education, China National Light Industry Council, COFCO Corporation, Wuxi Municipal People’s Government, and 28 universities.

        President Liu Jizhen took part in the fifth board meeting of Beijing Tech, and the forum on which he delivered a speech.

        The Annual High-level Industry-oriented University Development Forum had become an important platform for university leaders to exchange ideas, share experience and discuss development plans. The theme for the forum in 2011 was “Innovate Collaboratively to Improve Quality of Education Comprehensively”, which gave specific expression to implementing the Education Program Planning and embodying the spirit of General Secretary Hu Jintao’s speech.

        Focusing on collaborative innovation between universities and industries, the forum encouraged serious and in-depth discussion over culture construction, system and mechanism construction, self-positioning,  and strengthening the advantages.
