President Liu Jizhen Met with Zhang Xiaodong from China Southern Power Grid

      On the morning of November 5th, President Liu Jizhen Met with Zhang Xiaodong, Vice President of China Southern Power Grid, and his colleagues in the meeting room on the 9^th floor of the main building.

       Present were Director Luo Ticheng and Deputy Director Tang Guangxue of Human Resources Department from China Southern Power Grid, Vice President Wang Jiang and Qu Jiabing (Chairman of the Labor Union) of Guangxi Power Grid Corp., Vice President Liao Xinhe of Guizhou Power Grid Corp., Lin Fangze (Chairman of the Labor Union) of Hainan Power Grid Corp., Vice President Chen Tao of CSG Power Generation Company, Vice President Liu Zhihong of China Southern Power Grid Research Institute, Vice President Zhou Youming of CSG Finance Company, Vice President Lei Shuhua of CSG Communications Company Ltd., and Deputy Director Tang Zhuoyao of CSG General Management. Vice President An Liansuo, Hao Yingjie, Deputy Secretary of the NCEPU Committee of the CPC, President Assistant Guo Xiaofeng, and people from the President Office, University-Enterprise Cooperation Office, Department of Science and Technology, Students Department, Graduate School and Electrical & Electronic Engineering School also attended the meeting.

      President Liu Jizhen extended warm welcome to Zhang Xiaodong and his colleagues from China Southern Power Grid. Mr. Liu reviewed the long history of cooperation between China Southern Power Grid and NCEPU, highlighted important projects such as “Transimission of Electricity from the Western to the Eastern Region” and “Smart Grid”, and looked forward to further collaboration in university-enterprise cooperation and talent cultivation. The founding of Beijing Tech marked a new stage for the 11 universities including NCEPU in talent cultivation and innovation. NCEPU expected all-round and in-depth cooperation with China Southern Power Grid.

      Vice President of China Southern Power Grid Zhang Xiaodong expressed heartfelt thanks to support of NCEPU. In his opinion, NCEPU with its long history had provided a large number of talents who had made great contribution to the power industry. China Southern Power Grid, with long-time cooperation with NCEPU, looked forward to recruitment of excellent students. With much attention attached to production-study-research cooperation, China Southern Power Grid would like broaden the win-win cooperation with NCEPU.

      Subsequently people from both sides exchanged ideas over talent cultivation, university-enterprise cooperation, industry development, and production-study-research cooperation.

　　In the interview by the journalist of China Southern Power Grid after the meeting, President Liu Jizhen said the talk was of great importance to future cooperation between China Southern Power Grid and NCEPU, which would benefit both sides.
