The First Recruitment Fair for 2012 Graduates Was Successfully Held

        The Recruitment Fair for 2012 graduates and The Ninth National Electric Power Recruitment Fairs (NCEPU station) was held from 9 to 12 a.m. on October 30^th in the sports stadium of North China Electric Power University. This fair was jointly sponsored by NCEPU, Beijing Graduate Employment Service Center and Personnel Exchange Service Center of State Grid Corporation of China, which was attended by 150 companies, including electric power companies of Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Tianjin, Shanxi, Sichuan, Hubei and other provinces and municipalities affiliated to State Grid Corporation of China, China Electric Power Research Institute, and more than 100 non-electric power enterprises. Thousands of graduates came to seek for jobs.

          Hundreds of Many graduates waited outside the stadium half an hour before the fair opened. As soon as it started, the fair was immediately crowded with students who expected to find ideal jobs. Although the number of graduates attending the fair struck a historic new high this year, good order was kept by teachers from the Employment Service Center and those graduates.

        The electric power companies of some provinces and municipalities affiliated to State Grid Corporation of China are most popular among graduates majoring in Electric Power Systems and Automation. Many graduates came to the stands of relevant companies for consultancy and resume delivery. There are also nearly 100 enterprises (mainly enterprises in Beijing), which offered job opportunities for students majoring in automatic control, mechanics, computer science, information engineering, marketing, human resources, secretary etc.. The fair provided plenty of jobs for graduates.

      Faculties of some electric power companies held interviews in the afternoon, and then set out for Baoding campus for recruitment fair the next day. The Recruitment Fair for 2012 graduates came to a sound end in NCEPU.

        This fair aimed to provide graduates with a broad employment platform. Graduates from Tsinghua University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Tianjin University and so on also came for jobs. Until the release of this news, more than 30 students of NCEPU signed employment agreement with some companies at the site, and hundreds of students reached tentative intention with some enterprises.
